want toinstall updated softwere

i want to install some new updated softwere in my xp profetional like media player but i couldnt do it how can i do that?

For installing softwares like windows media player, you have to go through the genuin checking. So, if your windows is not genuin, perhaps you can't install the software. Try downloading different version of this software. This may help. scratch
